Closure of 2023 LIFE Call for Environmental, Nature, and Climate Projects
The application window for the 2023 LIFE Program's Environmental, Nature, and Climate project call came to a close on September 21st of this year. In total, 22 organizations from Latvia participated in this year's call, and the number of Climate project submissions is yet to be confirmed, potentially increasing the overall count of Latvian applicants.
All project applications will undergo a rigorous evaluation by experts from the European Commission, who will select the most deserving projects for funding within the available budget.

It's worth noting that the "Transition to Clean Energy" sub-program call was only opened in June, with project proposals due by November 16, 2023.

While the next call is likely to be announced in the spring of 2024, initiating the preparation process early can lead to the development of higher-quality project applications. Free consultations on the LIFE program, its projects, and potential project proposals will continue to be offered even after the conclusion of the calls.

During these consultations, participants have the opportunity to define the issues they want to address, identify the most suitable LIFE sub-program for their project, and discuss various questions related to the LIFE program.

These consultations can be arranged on any online platform and are available every business day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., either by prior appointment, phone call, or email. You can find the contact information for the LIFE Help Desk here.
