The 3rd Baltic Networking Meeting(BNM) to bring together LIFE programme project representatives and National Contact Points in September, in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
BNMs are organised by the CAP LIFE LAT team once a year, all four years of the project duration. Previous meetings have been held in Riga, Latvia and Parnu, Estonia; and this one will be organised in Klaipeda, Lithuania. This year will be the first to expand the scope of these meetings and include participants from other countries from the Baltic Sea region - Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Finland and Germany, hoping to build a network for the entire region.
Baltic Networking Meetings are a chance for all those working with the LIFE programme in the Baltic Sea region to meet, exchange experiences and share best practices, as well as develop relationships for future cooperation and support in implementing LIFE projects. These events are a part of the CAP LIFE LAT plan to ensure that after the project a network remains to support new applicants and continue to submit and implement future projects.
The participants will spend two days discussing best approaches to topics such as AfterLIFE, EU Added value and Integrated Projects; they will also hear about other projects happening in the Baltic Sea region and visit some Lithuanian project sites.
